But still why is 28mbps getting through on my 24mbps license?
i understand bandwidth utilization of one tmm reaches 7mbps which exceeds 75% of 6mbps (24mbps / 4). since each tmm has no idea about bandwidth utilization of others, bigip logs message by assuming total bandwidth utilization is 28mbps (4 x 7mbps). if i am not wrong, you could see drop counter in tmctl output.
Also, I have 4 TMM's, giving each one 6mbps. Should I lower my TMM's to 2 so they can each have 12? Would that help?
i think it depends on nature of traffic. if each connection utilizes more bandwidth, reducing number of tmm instances may be good. anyway, if there are number of connections which each utilizes small bandwidth utilization, more number of tmm instances may be better.
just my 2 cents.
