- dennypayneEmployeeIf the flash video isn't delivered over port 80 (or whatever port the site is already configured on), then LTM will block the traffic unless the correct port is also configured with a pool and virtual server. Persistence may also come into play here if the application needs to deliver the flash video from the same server as the client's original web connection. Without some more information as to your setup it's difficult to say what else might be needed, but ports/persistence would be the first place to look.
- Mike_Breeden_61NimbostratusThe flash video is delivered over port 80 and this site is not being load balanced at this time.
- hooleylistCirrostratusYou might try capturing the HTTP communication from the client using a browser plugin like HttpFox for FF or Fiddler for IE. To capture all the traffic you could use tcpdump on LTM and/or Wireshark on the client and/or server. You could compare the successful session of a client connecting directly to the server with the client connecting via LTM. If you want help capturing or interpreting the traces, you could open a case with F5 Support.
- Mike_Breeden_61NimbostratusWe found the fix to be setting the Virtual Server to use Unchunk in its settings.
